SCIOTOVILLE — Too little, too late.

The Green Lady Bobcats fell behind early and couldn’t recover as they lost 12-11 to the Sciotoville East Lady Titans on Wednesday in a Southern Ohio Conference game.

Green (0-3, 0-1) trailed 11-3 after three innings and then watched their comeback fall short.

“We got off to a poor start, but we did battle back. We’ve got to come ready to play,” said Green coach Dale Royse.

Jenna Crawford went 2-5 and Rayna Boggs 2-2 to lead the Lady Bobcats. Sammi Crisp was 1-2, Krashawna Jones 1-3 and Devon Johnson 1-4.

Green hosts Portsmouth Notre Dame on Friday in a league game.
