Trouble — 700 block South Ninth Street, 12:09 a.m. Thursday, unwelcome guest taken to jail.

Burglary — 1100 block Walnut Street, 2:37 a.m. Thursday, computer and Xbox taken.

Possible breaking and entering — R&R Roofing, 8:49 a.m. Thursday, attempted entry only.

Speak to officer — Reported at police station, 12:26 p.m. Thursday, elderly man allegedly abused, man taken to Adult Protective Services.

Trouble — 500 block North Fourth Street, 2:03 p.m. Thursday, 14-year-old male taken to group home.

Trouble — 300 block Batham Lane, 10:31 p.m. Thursday, people yelling and screaming at each other, one citation issued.

Trouble — 700 block South 10th Street, 10:53 p.m. Thursday, woman outside screaming; jail will not take, too full, advised.

Vandalism — 1700 block Reynolds Street, 10:53 p.m. Thursday, vehicle ransacked.

Felonious assault — 800 block Township Road 214N, Chesapeake, 12:50 a.m. Thursday, woman allegedly confronted by man who threatened to burn house down, man located living in nearby abandoned trailer, allegedly refused to drop large club when ordered to do so by deputy, deputy reported he had to Taser subject when subject came toward him with club raised in air, Taser had no effect, additional units called for backup, deputy reported he had to tackle man to subdue him; Stephen Baldwin, 54, Township Road 214 N. Chesapeake, arrested and taken to jail.

Burglary — 1000 block County Road 1, South Point, 11:01 p.m. Thursday, flat-screen TV taken.

Theft — 500 block Township Road 244N, Pedro, 12:29 a.m. Tuesday, security devices on house tampered with, tools, DirecTV box, four wheeler, other items taken, suspect named.

Burglary — 1100 block County Road 1, South Point, 3:w54 p.m. Thursday, Playstation, knife, games taken.

Burglary — 500 block County Road 12, Proctorville, 11:24 a.m. Thursday, flat-screen TV, camcorder, medication taken.

Petty theft, assault — Walmart, 200 block County Road 410, South Point, 12:20 p.m. Wednesday, man allegedly opened CDs and concealed disks in his pocket, when loss prevention agent questioned subject, subject allegedly threw agent on the ground and fought him, agent received cuts to hands and left leg, broken glasses, Tony Wilson II, 21, of 2477 County Road 48, Waterloo, arrested.

Violate protection order or consent agreement — 8700 block County Road 107, Proctorville, 10 a.m. Wednesday, woman alleged soon-to-be ex-husband texting her, following her and mowing the lawn in front of her house despite her protection order, Richard Shepard, 39, of 804 Sixth St., Huntington, W.Va., arrested.

Burglary — 700 block State Route 522, Pedro, 12:40 p.m. Monday, Gregory Riggs, 22, of 7685 State Route 243, South Point, arrested.
