PORTSMOUTH — It just wasn’t a good day for the Green Lady Bobcats.

The Lady Bobcats managed just one hit and were guilty of 10 errors in a 16-0 five-inning Southern Ohio Conference loss to the Portsmouth Clay Lady Panthers.

Green (5-5, 2-2) had its lone hit in the first inning when Erin Imes singled.

“We just didn’t play well and Clay has an awfully good team,” said Green coach Dale Royse.

The Lady Bobcats visit New Boston on Wednesday in a conference game.

Jordan Jenkins and Cami Whitley each went 3-4 and Jessica Moore and Marissa Messer 2-3 for Clay.
