Ironton police

Trouble — 1300 block South Ninth Street, 1:52 a.m. Thursday, subject allegedly trying to break into neighbor’s garage.

Vandalism — 2200 block North Fourth Street, 7:59 a.m. Thursday, car pilfered.

Theft — 1700 block Bessemer Street, 8:14 a.m. Thursday, purse taken from vehicle.

Kids in street — Seventh and Railroad streets, 1:05 p.m. Thursday, small children playing in street, parents located and advised.

Theft — City water plant, 1:40 p.m. Thursday, window taken out of backhoe.

Solicitation — U.S. 52 on-ramp at State Route 93, 6:58 p.m. Thursday, two men trying to get a ride, advised and moved on.

Fight — 900 block Center Street, 7:46 p.m. Thursday, citation issued.

Panhandling — Pick N Save, Ironton Hills Shopping Center, 11:35 a.m. Thursday, man allegedly asking for money, given ride to residence.
