GREENUP, Ky. — Creative Memories presents a Spring Scrapbooking Weekend, April 27-28, at Greenbo Lake State Resort Park, designed for the experienced and the novice scrapbooker.

The scrapbooking registration fee is $30 and includes a gift bag and instructions. All participants must bring their own scrapbooks and supplies. If needed, additional supplies and materials can be purchased form Creative Memories. Registration and classes begin Friday evening, April 27, at 6 p.m. and continue all day Saturday, April 28. There will also be scrapbooking all day Sunday, April 29, for those who want to stay.

The park is offering a package for $125 plus tax for two nights lodging for two, all meals on your own, and a free continental breakfast Saturday and Sunday mornings. This is separate from the scrapbooking registration fee.

Greenbo Lake State Resort Park is on KY 1, 18 miles north of Interstate 64 from the Grayson exit, or eight miles south of U.S. 23 (the Country Music Highway) on KY 1. The park features the Jesse Stuart Lodge with 36 rooms, convention center and Anglers’ Cove Restaurant.

The park has a 225-acre lake for boating and fishing, tennis courts, and 25 miles of multi-use trails for hiking, biking and horseback riding. The campground is through Oct. 31.

Greenbo’s amphitheater features musical concerts and plays during the summer and fall.
