Program planned for benefit dinner

It’s game time.
The retirement dinner for former Ironton Fighting Tigers’ head football coach Bob Lutz and long-time assistant Mike Burcham will be from 6-10 p.m. Saturday at the Knights of Columbus Hall and will include a short program in their honor.
Rick Mayne and J.B. Miller will serve as the masters of ceremonies and conduct the program expected to begin at approximately 7:30 p.m.
Besides the program, a 50/50 drawing and auctions will be conducted throughout the evening including an Ironton Fighting Tigers’ chair courtesy of Darren Diamond with embroidery by CJT’s Embroidery and Screen Printing of Ironton.
Tickets are $30 each and $50 per couple. Tickets are available at Ironton Physical Therapy, Ohio River Bank, Ironton High School and the school board office. Proceeds benefit the Ironton Turf Project.
