ILCCAO announces promotions

Effective immediately, Nancy Lewis, RN, C-PNP, has been promoted to the position of Director of Health Integration, Development, and Clinical Quality.

This assignment will allow Lewis to focus primarily on assuring that the Ironton Lawrence County Area Community Action Organization is able to take advantage of the opportunities to grow and provide additional critical services to area patients.

“Nancy will be leading us into initiatives including the integration of new and existing services, such as mental health and substance abuse counseling, home health care for seniors, dental services, nursing home, and pre-natal care. At the same time, Nancy will continue to oversee compliance with HRSA requirements, grant writing, Joint Commission accreditation, and overall clinical quality”, outlined Ironton Lawrence County Area Community Action Organization’s, Executive Director, D.R. Gossett.

Chris Moore has been hired as the new Health Services Director of Operations. Chris has extensive experience in practice management implementation, billing, and coding. She is a Certified Professional Coder, and holds a Certificate in Health Information Technology.

She has worked in a successful private practice in Columbus, as well as at Columbus Neighborhood Community Health Center.

“Chris will have full responsibility for daily operations including such things as recruiting, managing and evaluating staff, procurement, workflow efficiency, and overall benchmarking of the family medical centers. Given her invaluable capacity and comfortable, confident style, we are very pleased to have her on our team at this critical time in our history,” Gossett concluded.
