WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Washington Redskins have announced that former Marshall defensive lineman Delvin Johnson has been signed to a free agent contract following the club’s rookie minicamp that was held over the weekend.
Johnson started 12 of 13 games last season, posting 42 tackles (19 solo, 23 assists), which included 10.5 tackles for loss and two sacks. He also had one pass breakup and one fumble recovery. In the 34-27 overtime victory over East Carolina, he notched a career-high seven tackles.
