The Tribune was recognized by the Associated Press Society of Ohio Sunday, bringing home seven honors at the annual awards banquet.
Competing in the community newspaper division against more than 30 others with an average daily circulation of less than 7,999, The Tribune staff earned four first-place honors.
“We feel like there are many things we do to serve the community and our readers that will never garner an award, but it is nice to be recognized by your peers,” said Tribune publisher Michael Caldwell. “Several of these honors are team awards that reflect on the hard work and dedication of the entire staff.
“Jessica St. James continues to show she is one of the best newspaper photographers in the state. I am proud of her and of the all the employees because they are the heart and soul of the newspaper.”
