There will be a time change this week with the group meeting at 9 a.m. and golf at 10. New members are welcome and may come to the course clubhouse and join the group of 23 members.

Hostess for last week’s event was Nancy Livingston who provided refreshments, scheduled events to play for the day and placed the ladies in their pairings.

Cecilia Woods recently shared her enjoyable experience on Mother’s Day weekend at the first Mother’s Day dinner celebration at the club that was held with board member Frank Mullins overseeing the festivities. A total of 18 couples attended and special events were held indoors with Larry Frische and Steve Thompson recognized as winners.

Following morning golfing, the ladies met for lunch with Livingston announcing the winners: Georgia Willis, Pat Riggs, Joyce Lewis and Betty Fraley winning three events.

Fraley will perform hostess duties this week.

Editor’s Note: A special recognition goes to Joyce Lewis. Joyce and Ralph Lewis are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday. Joyce handles the publicity for the Ladies Nine Hole group.
