PINE GROVE — The Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association of the Ironton Country Club continued its weekly meetings and competition last Tuesday at 9 a.m.

Two weeks ago Betty Fraley served as hostess and chose the golfing events for the day along with pairing the ladies for tee-off.

Upon return to the clubhouse after the events, Fraley announced the winners for the day: Barb Holmes, Becky Dillow and Cecilia Woods winning two events.

Last week Jamie Dyer performed hostess duties and also served refreshments as well as prepared the ladies for play and announced the selected events.

Winners were: Joyce Fields, Pat Riggs, Rose Auble and Johnna Jones winning two events.

During the weekly meeting, Nancy Livingston announced ladies should begin posting score change updates on the Ringer Tournament posted in the ladies’ locker room.

Next week’s hostess will be Holmes and new members are always welcomed. Anyone interested in joining the group may contact any league member or call the Ironton Country Club clubhouse at (740) 532-2511.
