Velsia Virginia Carrico, 87, of South Point, died Saturday, June 16, 2012, in Heartland of Riverview. Funeral services will be noon Thursday at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home with Pastor Daniel Beaver officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point. Mary Lou Coburn

Mary Lou Coburn, 69, of Pedro, died Monday, June 18, 2012, at the Hospice Center in Portsmouth. She was the wife of Kenneth Coburn, who survives.
