Schallis Moore

Schallis Stanley Moore, 70, Ironton, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, W.Va.  He was born Feb. 25, 1942, in Sandy Hook, Ky.,, to the late Granvil Moore and Anna Smitson.

Schallis is survived by his former wife and friend, Sue Moore; daughters, Cheryl Aldridge and husband, Lawrence, Ronda Graham and husband, Ricky, and Jill Moore; son, Richard Moore; grandchildren, Jerry Stapleton, Ryan Munion, Kayla Fry, Courtney Humphrey, Brandon Haney, Rachel Halterman, and Brittney Halterman; six great grandchildren; sisters, Eula Turvey and Connie Stidham; brothers, Benny Moore and J.C. Moore; and seven step siblings.

Schallis was a former employee at Ashland Oil/Marathon.  He accepted Jesus as his Savior on June 24, 2012.  There will be no services.  Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, is in charge of arrangements.  Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.

 

Henry DeLong

Henry R. DeLong, 91, of South Point, died Friday, June 29, 2012, at Heartland of Riverview in South Point. Arrangements are pending at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point.

 

Leonard Ferguson

Leonard Allen Ferguson 58, of Griffin, Ga, formerly of Chesapeake, Ohio, died Sunday, June 10, 2012. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday July at the Chesapeake Park.
