T-Wolves win tri-match with Hornets, Pointers

LAVALETTE, W.Va. — The Spring Valley Timberwolves won a tri-match Wednesday at Sugarwood Golf Course.

The T-Wolves had a team score of 178 with the Coal Grove Hornets posting a 183 total while the South Point Pointers finished at 212.

Colton Brumfield shot a 41 for Spring Valley to take medalist honors. Coal Grove’s Brent Morgan was just one stroke back and teammate Cody Davidson shot a 43.

Besides Morgan and Davidson, Brandon Adkins shot a 46, Tori Holmes 52 and Justin Mullens had a 61.

Caleb Jones led the Pointers as he carded a 50. Kyle Goodson shot a 51, Austin Wellman was next with a 52, Madison Riley had a 59 and Barbara Collins finished with a 68.

For Spring Valley, Brandon Morone and Nathaniel Earl each had a 45, Calvin Hinchman a 47, Alex Lewandowski 49 and Josh Steele 52.
