Margret Bundy

April 14, 1959-Sept. 21, 2012

Margret Alice Bundy, 53, of Ironton, died Friday Sept. 21, 2012, at Ohio State University Medical Center. She was born April 14, 1959, to Fred Wilds and the late Clara Monnig Wilds.

She was the wife of George Bundy. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Pine Grove. She worked as a CNA. She was preceded in death by her mother and one brother, Lawrence Wilds. She is survived by her husband and three daughters, Traci Bundy (John Burns) of Huntington, W.Va., Amy Bundy (Kevin Hieronimus) of Ironton and Jessica Bundy of Ironton; eight grandchildren; Laura Collins, Aliceson Bundy, Matthew Bundy, Mikeala Hanshaw, L.J. Hanshaw, Izabella Collins, MacKenzie Burns and Justin Bundy; six brothers, Pat Wilds (Lisa) of Pedro, Paul Wilds (Pam), Mike Wilds (Carol), Steve Wilds (Teresa), Tim Wilds (Sherry), and Freddy Wilds (Donna), all of Ironton; one sister, Mary Stewart (John) of Ironton; several nieces and nephews; and good friends Joyce Armstrong, Mr. and Mrs. James Riley and the Johnson family.

Visitation will be at O’Keefe-Baker Funeral Home Tuesday 10 a.m. until noon. Funeral service will be noon at the funeral home with Father David Huffman officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

 

Judy Espinoza

Jan. 15, 1967-Sept. 22, 2012

Judy L. Ruggles Espinoza, 45, of Ironton passed away Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky. The Lawrence County native was born Jan. 15, 1967, the daughter of Homer and Mary Hamilton Ruggles of Ironton, who survive.

Judy was a 1985 graduate of Rock Hill High School graduate and of the Baptist faith. She was a billing clerk for Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital until her illness prevented her from working.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by son, Christopher Espinoza of Ironton; sister and brother-in law, Regina and Jeff Massie of Kitts Hill; brother, Marty Ruggles of Ironton; brother and fiancée, Stacy Ruggles and Bev of Ashland, Ky.; four nieces, Amber Massie of Kitts Hill, Rachael Ruggles of Ironton, Laken Ruggles of Ironton, and LaKaelynnn Sparks of Ashland, Ky.; two nephews, Michael Massie of Kitts Hill and Cadin Sparks of Ashland, Ky.; and many other family members and friends.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home with Elder Terry Bryant, Elder Feadlen (Junior) Ruggles and Elder Gary Blevins officiating. Darrell Ruggles

April 19, 1973-Sept. 21, 2012

Darrell Wayne Ruggles, 39, of Ironton, passed away Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at South Williamson Appalachian Regional Hospital in South Williamson, Ky. The Scioto county native was born April 19, 1973, a son to the late Elaine Ruggles (Phillips) and Darrell Glynn Ruggles of Versailles, Ind. He is survived by his wife Margaret Ann (Jenkins) Ruggles. They have been married for 14 years and together for 20.

Darrell was a 1992 graduate of Portsmouth High School. He worked as a roofer for Boggs Roofing and was a member of the Local Union #185. He was of the Baptist faith and loved to watch NASCAR, football and loved to hunt.

In addition to his wife and father, Darrell is survived by two daughters, Tiffany Ruggles and Kelly Ruggles, both of Ironton; a son, Austin Ruggles of Ironton; a brother, Brian Ruggles of Portsmouth; three sisters, Angela Ruggles of Portsmouth; Brittany Baker and Katelynn Ruggles both of Versailles; a paternal grandmother, Louise Ruggles of Sciotoville; a stepmother, Roberta Ray of Versailles; a mother in-law, Judy Jenkins and Papa John of Coal Grove; and several nieces and nephews.

Ann Owens, 59, of Patriot, died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky. Arrangements are pending at Phillips Funeral Home.

Nora I. Patton, 80, of Campbellsville, Ky., died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at the Hospice House of Huntington. Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Robinson Creek Baptist Church, Campbellsville. Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will follow in Salem United Methodist Church. Hall Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
