It’s status quo.

Not much has changed since last week’s Ohio High School Athletic Association computer ratings.

The Ironton Fighting Tigers (5-2) loss to Bishop Watterson didn’t do anything to their position as the No. 2 team in Region 15 of Division IV. Ironton has a 14.6571 average while leader St. Clairsville (7-0) has a 17.2653 average.

Minford (7-0) remains third at 11.0357 followed by Johnstown-Monroe (6-1) at 10.0643, Piketon (5-2) at 8.3143, Martins Ferry (5-2) at 7.9429, Zane Trace (3-4) at 7.5821 and Harrison Central (5-2) with a 7.5 average.

Chesapeake (3-4) did manage to climb into the top 10 with a win over Fairland. The Panthers had a 5.6241 average.

In Region 23 of Division VI, the Symmes Valley Vikings (6-1) routed Sciotoville East but slipped one spot to No. 6 in the ratings with an 8.3214 average.

Newark Catholic (6-1) still leads the region at 12.1143 and Zanesville Bishop Rosecrans (6-1) is second with an 11.4293 average.

Danville (6-1) is next at 10.3983 followed by Trimble (6-1) at 8.9643 and Colonel Crawford (6-1) at 8.4071.

After Symmes Valley comes Portsmouth Notre Dame (5-2) at 6.1857 and Hannibal River (4-3) at 5.8429.

The top eight teams in each region of each division of the final ratings will qualify for the postseason playoffs.
