Lawrence Skeens

Lawrence Andy Skeens, 98, of Proctorville, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, at Hospice House of Huntington, W.Va. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gracie Marie Skeens.

Helen Carter Hurley, 99, of Huntington, W.Va., died Friday, Oct. 19, 2012, in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. Laverne R. Lee, 60, of Proctorville, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, at her residence. Funeral services will be noon Thursday at Young Chapel A.M.E. Church, 840 18th St., Huntington, W.Va., with the Rev. ReLoy F. Gainey Sr. officiating. Entombment will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
