District all-star game Monday at Jackson

The Coaches District 13 annual senior all-star basketball game will be held Monday at Jackson High School.

The girls’ game tips off at 6 p.m. and the boys play at 8 p.m. Senior members of the coaches’ all-star team are eligible to play.

There will be a 3-point goal shooting contest and a slam dunk contest between games.

Admission is $5 at the door.

 

SPLL hosts Wizards in benefit game

The South Point Little will host the Harlem Wizards at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 18, at South Point High School with proceeds to benefit the league.

The Wizards will play the Pointer Pound celebrity team that will include famed country comedic singer Cletus T. Judd, and radio personalities Jim Davis of WKEE and Woody of B97.1.

Tickets in advance are $10 for adults and $8 for children and at the door $12 for adults and $10 for children.
