There will be a meeting Monday at noon at the Ironton Transit Center for those interested in participating in this year’s farmers market.

“We want to include any potential farmers and producers to join us as we establish the rules and regulations for the market,” Carol Allen, of Ironton aLIVE, said. Ironton aLIVE is sponsoring the upcoming market that will start June 1 and run through Oct. 31.

“People who have eggs, meat, honey, any food products, baked goods or flowers,” Allen said. “We are trying to expand and it is whatever you produce and are going to sell. We are wanting to expand the market.”

The transit center is located at Vernon and South Second streets.
