The first annual Ironton Country Club Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament three-man scramble will be held on Saturday.

There will two tams per tee box. Entry free is $180 per team with a team skirt for one person and three mulligans.

If there are more than 20 teams, split tee times will be held in the morning and afternoon. Morning tee times start at 8:30 and afternoon tee times at 1:30. If there are less than 20 teams, tee times will be in the afternoon.

Texas Roadhouse will provide lunch between the morning and afternoon rounds.

The tournament will honor Doug Ison, Barney Hannon and John Jones this year.

Payouts will be $600 for first place, $300 for second place and $150 for third. Also awarded will be a scholarship of $500 at the tournament. The scholarship is open to any senior high school golf team member from a Lawrence County school.

Pre-registration is required to assure proper amount of food and tee time.
