Child Welfare Club presents Freshie awards

With a focus on education, the Child Welfare Club recently presented the annual Freshie awards at Ironton High School and St. Joseph High School.

To qualify for the award, the students must have a 90 percent average or better in all academic subjects and/or 85 percent or better in all weighted subjects throughout the freshman year.

Those students receiving the award at St. Joseph are: Emily Anderson, Lynsey Booker, Logan Carrico,Ivie Hopkins,Seth Kelley, Alyssa Miller, Brady Parlato, Emma Saxby, Allison Scaife, Sydney Wain and Ivy Whaley.

Those students who met the requirements at Ironton High School are: Alexis Barrier, Bailie Brownstead, Brooke Ferguson, Zachary Freeman, Shyla Gaskins, Logan Gleichauf, Chase Hankins, Hunter Klaiber, Baylee McClain, Tyler Milleson, Brandon Peters, Noah Ratliff, Cody Rawlins, Cory Rawlins, Parker Rowe, Donald Stapleton, Sydney Strait and Tyler Ward.
