Ironton man killed in motorcycle crash

An Ironton man was killed in a motorcycle crash early Tuesday morning.
According to a release by the Ohio State Highway Patrol Ironton Post, David Holschuh, 47, was driving a 1988 Kawasaki Vulcan west bound on County Road 21 (Porter Gap Road) when the man lost control of the bike in a curve. The release said Holschuh was not wearing a helmet and died at the scene.
The accident happened at about 2:20 a.m. and the road was closed for about four hours.
The crash is still under investigation by the OSHP.
