The Ringer Tournament began last week and members were reminded to post their scores along with the weekly postings for the Handicap Tournament.

Two weeks ago, Rose Auble serve as hostess and served her homemade breakfast treats. Later in the day following the golf events she announced the day’s winners with Betty Fraley and Joyce Lewis winning two events.

Last week, Nancy Livingston assumed the hostess duties and also brought refreshments. She then paired the 11 participating members, announced the prize events that served as an incentive for the women, and then gave everyone their tee times.

The group welcomed back former member Kathy Fraley who had joined them for the day.

After the golfing events, the women returned to the clubhouse and were treated to the lunch prepared by Linn Bunker and staff. A new feature available to the club members is the opportunity to place a personal lunch order prior to hitting the links.

At lunch Livingston announced the events winners: Cecilia Woods, Johnna Jones, Rose Auble, Joyce Lewis, Fraley, Jane Mains and two-event winners Barb Holmes and Pat Riggs.

Woods will serve as next week’s hostess.

Ladies considering joining the group are invited to visit. New members are always welcome. Meetings begin at 9 a.m. with tee off at 10.
