Laura Wagner

Laura Rose Wagner, 80, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away Monday, July 22, 2013, at her residence. The Ironton native was born Sept. 22, 1932, the daughter of the late Raymond R. and Nellie Morgan Wagner.

Miss Wagner was a graduate of Ironton High School and a former registered nurse for Lawrence County General Hospital and Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond R. Wagner, Jr.

She is survived by two sisters, Wanda Lenore Bennett and Jo Ann Wagner, both of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Woodland Cemetery with Pastor Bob Chaffins officiating. There will be no public visitation. Phillips Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. To offer condolences to the family, please visit www.phillipsfuneralhome.net.
