PINE GROVE — It was Tuesday on the calendar and that meant another week of golfing activities for the Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association of the Ironton Country Club.

Johnna Jones performed the hostess duties last Tuesday as they club had their weekly meeting. Jones served refreshments during the morning business meeting then the ladies drew partners to pair up with for their nine holes of golf.

Following the golfing events, the group returned to the clubhouse for lunch and conversation as Jones announced the day’s winners: Jane Mains with two events, Nancy Livingston and Jones herself.

The club continues this Tuesday with a brief 9 a.m. business meeting followed by golfing at 9:30. Golfing activities will continue each week throughout the summer and fall.

New members are always welcome. Anyone interested should attend the weekly meeting or contact a club member.
