The Ironton High School athletic department will host a reception at 6 p.m. Friday in the high school cafeteria for the “Turf Project” major sponsors.

The event will continue through halftime and food and drinks will be provided at this informal event.

Sponsors may step in for something to eat and/or drink or stay and eat a meal. The event is to express the athletic department’s appreciation and to provide an update on the next steps for the facilities project to supply the football field with artificial turf.

Any sponsors who plan to attend are asked to RSVP by contacting Janet Priode, athletic secretary, or Mark LaFon, athletic director.

All attendees will enter through the Heplar Street gate by the Auto Tech Shop. There will be a pass gate marked for the reception.
