Macie Luster

Macie R. Luster, 93, of Franklin Furnace, went to be with the Lord Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, at home. She was born Sept. 19, 1920, in Greenup, Ky., a daughter of the late John Rayburn and Effie Ensor Rayburn.

She was a member of Midland Missionary Baptist Church, a graduate of Ohio University and taught school in Kentucky, Ohio and Florida.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Nick Blair and George Luster. Surviving are a special friend, Evelyn Horsley, with whom she resided. She is also survived by her little dog, Gracie. She was also preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Edgewood Abbey Mausoleum at Memorial Burial Park. Services are under the direction of the Swick-Bussa-Chamberlin Funeral Home in Wheelersburg. Online condolences to www.swickbussachamberlin.com.

 

 

Salem Fuller Jr.

Salem “Tim” Fuller Jr., 72, of Proctorville, died Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, W.Va. He is survived by his wife, Donna Sue Fuller. Visitation will be 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville. A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday at Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, by Pastor Jason Morris. Phyllis Crabtree

Phyllis Ann Crabtree, 77, of Kitts Hill, died Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Phillips Funeral Home with Pastor John Paul Patterson officiating. Burial will be in the Crabtree family cemetery. Visitation is from noon until service time.
