Lady Panthers knock off Soldiers

CHESAPEAKE — One game, one win.
The Chesapeake Lady Panthers played just one volleyball game last week and enjoyed a straight sets win over the Grace Christian Lady Soldiers, 25-7, 25-21 and 25-9.
Carrie Brock and Mariah Freyre scored 11 points each to lead the Lady Panthers’ win.
In the reserve match, Chesapeake won 25-13, 25-22 as Kelsey Huff and Laura Rice scored 9 points each.
After a slow schedule last week, the Lady Panthers get busy this week as they play four games including their senior night game at 5:30 p.m. Monday against St. Joseph.
