Carter, Fletcher get TV time vs Buckeyes

Former Ironton All-Ohio basketball standouts Zac Carter and Trey Fletcher could be seeing playing time and TV time when Walsh University plays at Ohio State Sunday.

The 4 p.m. game is scheduled to be aired on the Big Ten Network. Carter has been listed as a started for Walsh and Fletcher has been one of the top players off the bench.

The Big Ten Network is Channel 75 on Time Warner Cable.

 

SOC girls’ basketball previews Nov. 15

The Southern Ohio Conference girls’ basketball previews will be held Friday, Nov. 15, at Eastern High School.

Each game will consist of two quarters. Admission is $5. Here is the schedule:

5:00 Eastern vs. Wheelersburg; 5:40 Green vs. South Webster; 6:20 Oak Hill vs. Symmes Valley; 7:00 Lucasville Valley vs. New Boston; 8:20 Clay vs. Minford; 9:00 Western vs. Portsmouth West; 9:40 East vs. Waverly.
