Ironton Police are searching for two men who robbed the Rax restaurant on South Third Street Saturday night.
The incident happened at approximately 8:45 p.m.
“The two men went into the Rax and were all dressed in black,” Ironton Police Chief Dan Johnson said. “One was brandishing a weapon. They demanded money and got $110.”
While they fled on foot, investigators believe they got into a red full size pickup truck that was parked several blocks away from the restaurant, Johnson said.
Detectives are unclear at this time as to their ages.
“They were totally covered,” Johnson said. “They appear to be white males.”
The investigation is ongoing.
“Detectives collected some evidence and processed the evidence and will see where it leads,” the chief said.
