Last week one of Lawrence County’s Most Wanted probation violators surrendered to authorities while another was captured in Kentucky.

Derrick Bailey, 32, turned himself in to courthouse security staff Tuesday, said Carl Bowen II, chief of the Adult Probation Agency.

“He said he knew he was in the Most Wanted,” Bowen said.

Bailey made the list on Nov. 18. He is on probation for a conviction of two counts of first-degree complicity to aggravated robbery.

On Thursday, Bowen, along with APA officer Lynne Stewart and Jonathan Sexton, caught up with John Foster, 40, in Ashland, Ky.

According to Bowen, the man, on probation for an attempted burglary conviction, knew it was only a matter of time before the APA arrested him.

“He (Foster) said, ‘It was fine until it hit the paper. My days were numbered,’” Bowen said.

Foster made the list on Nov. 25.

This week’s list of Lawrence County’s Most Wanted are:

Tiffany Whitley, 32, last known to be living in South Point. She is on probation for an attempted complicity to burglary conviction. She failed to report to the adult probation department, prompting a warrant to be issued. She is 5 feet tall and weighs 155 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

Christopher Collins, 29, last known to be living in Huntington, W.Va. He is on probation for receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia convictions. He failed to report to the adult probation department, prompting a warrant to be issued. He is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 155 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Dan Bean, 34, last known to be living in Ironton. He is on probation for a grand theft conviction. He failed to report to the adult probation department, prompting a warrant to be issued. He is 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 285 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Franklin Hall, 34, last known to be living in Ironton. He is on probation for an attempt to commit felonious assault conviction. He failed to report to the adult probation department, prompting a warrant to be issued. He is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 125 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
