“The gardeners club has donated seeds for seed catalogues,” Lori Shafer, adult services librarian, said. “You can check out seed packets for free.”

Then any seeds left over or harvested in the fall from the plants that result can be brought back to the library.

“If you are able to save seed from the plants, we will be able to replenish the catalogues,” Shafer said.

Also on Saturday, May 3, there will be a plant exchange at the Ironton library from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with the Rock Hill club. Plants can be brought in and traded for others.

“If you don’t have anything to bring but have questions, the club members are extremely knowledgeable,” Shafer said.
