PINE GROVE — One might be the loneliest number, but two seemed to be quite busy.

Jane Mains and Wanda Spears were involved in the number two during last Tuesday’s weekly outing of the Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association of the Ironton Country Club.

Spears not only served as the hostess for the day and served breakfast snacks at the business meeting, but also came away with an event win during the day’s competition.

Mains’ name came up twice as she recorded wins in two events. Also getting an event win was Nancy Livingston.

Members are again reminded that the Ringer Tournament is continuing each Tuesday. Members are asked to check the schedule for other events and tournaments.

The hostess for next week is Sharon Fox. A business meeting will be at 9 a.m. followed by golf at 9:30.

New members are always welcomed.
