PINE GROVE — There were plenty of golf results the past two weeks for the Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association of the Ironton Country Club, and Joyce Lewis’ name kept popping up.

Two weeks ago, Betty Fraley served as the hostess and handled the duties for breakfast treats and daily luncheon.

At the luncheon, Fraley announced the day’s winners: Nancy Livingston, Lewis and Fraley herself.

Last week, Livingston took over as the hostess and served the breakfast snacks during the weekly business meeting.

Following the day’s golfing events, Livingston announced the winners. Pat Riggs won one event while Lewis racked up three wins.

Besides the weekly results, the winners of the Handicap Tournament were announced. Fraley took first place with Lewis second.

Next week’s hostess is Pat Lambert.

Business meeting is at 9 a.m. followed by golf at 9:30. New members are always welcomed.
