Ironton will dedicate its new artificial playing surface at Tanks Memorial Stadium prior to Friday’s game against Ashland.
A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 7:25 p.m. that will include major sponsors who contributed to the funding of the turf project.
Also, select parking on the 7th Street St. lot next to the Conley Sports Center will be charging $3 for parking. According to the Ohio High School Athletic Association regulations, a fee is necessary during the regular season if the school hosts any playoff games and wants to charge for parking.
Tickets are $6 for general admission and $3 for seniors and students. Tickets are available in the high school auto shop, Iron City Hardware during business hours and at Ashland High School.
