Coal Grove Church of the Nazarene to welcome new pastor
COAL GROVE — The Coal Grove Church of the Nazarene on Sunday will officially welcome its new pastor.
Brian Taylor, of Russell, and his wife and Coal Grove native, Marta, will officially be welcomed at 6 p.m. on Sunday at the church.
“I’m very excited,” Brian said. “I did a lot of praying before I said ‘yes’ and I am looking forward to it.”
Brian was previously assistant pastor at the Ironton Church of the Nazarene and has worked at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland for 14 years. He is also a high school and college football referee.
Brian and Marta are the parents of one son, 11-year-old Landon.
“I can’t wait to see what God’s going to do at the Coal Grove Church of the Nazarene,” Brian said. “I’ll just pray and keep doing what God wants me to do.”
