Danny Primm

April 21, 1953-March 26, 2015

Danny Primm, 61, of Ironton, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015, at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer . The Lawrence County native was born April 21, 1953, a son of Juanita Primm Wheeler of Ironton and the late Clayton Henderson.

Danny was a 1971 graduate of Rock Hill High School and attended Ohio University in Athens. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and of the Christian faith.  He was a self-employed painter and a retired employee of Allied Signal and Leibert Corporation. Danny was an avid bowler and bowled in many leagues in Huntington, Kenova, Ashland and Ironton.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a brother, Denver Kaiser; and his grandmother, Mary Faulkner.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki Dalton Primm whom he married Feb. 25, 1995; son, Danny (Trish) Primm of Norfolk, Virginia; son, Davey (Nelly) Primm of San Diego, California; daughter, Danielle (Jeff) Ballard of San Antonio, Texas; daughter, Danae (Chris) Glade of Little Rock, Arkansas; stepdaughter, Jennifer (Kevin) Lewis of Pedro; stepdaughter, Madison Bowen (Eli Christian) of Ironton; mother-in-law, Doris Dalton of Ironton; 11 grandchildren, Hunter, Lucas and Delilah Primm, Tristan and Clayton Primm, Kelli and Kyle Darst, Eli and Jonah Lewis, Bowen and Finn Gossett.

Graveside services will be at noon Monday, April 6, 2015, at Woodland Cemetery in Ironton, with Sean Primm officiating. There will be no visitation. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK, 73123-1718. Phillips Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. Leroy Rossiter

Leroy Rossiter, 69, of Crown City, died Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, West Virginia. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville by Pastor Meredith Turley.

Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Edward Johns

Edward Johns, 71, of Proctorville, died Friday, March 27, 2015.

Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville by pastor Jason Morris.

Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville.

Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Lowell Roark, Sr.

Lowell Lyndon Roark, Sr., 74 of Flatwoods, Kentucky, died Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods with pastor Roy Roach officiating. Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods. Visitation will be from noon until service time on Tuesday at the Funeral Home.

Randall Lee Blake, 54, of Hamlin, West Virginia, died Thursday, March 26, 2015, at St. Mary’s Medical Center. There will be no services. Hall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
