Dallas Young

Dallas LeRoy Young, 56, of Ironton, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at his home in Ironton. The Ironton native was born Dec. 2, 1958, a son of the late Evelynn Young Richendollar. He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Ruth Detwiler Young.

Dallas attended Rock Hill High School and enjoyed spending time with his wife, family, friends, most of his dogs and those he met through the years on dialysis.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Richendollar; and a grandmother, Lelia Young.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a stepson, Billy Detwiler four brothers, Ernie (Shannon) Richendollar, Gene (Debbie) Richendollar, Randy (Evelyn) Richendollar and Ricky (Kristi) Richendollar; and three sisters, Trina (Steve) Baker, Flossy (Ralph) Westfall, and Mary Lou Alberry.

The family would like to thank the FMC Dialysis Center for taking such great care of Dallas and also Barb Harmon, Homer Lee and a special nephew, Tyler Richendollar, for all the help in his care

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Cremeans officiating. Visitation will be from noon until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home. Harold Duvendeck

Harold Leon (Butch) Duvendeck Sr., 66, of Ironton, died on Wednesday, April 1, 2015. He was born May 20, 1948, to the late Adam and Sadie Hoptry Duvendeck. He was the husband of the late Rosetta Gail Sisler Duvendeck. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a self-employed contractor.

He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Sadie Mae Duvendeck; sisters, Pauline Sisler, Patricia Kiser and Mary Murphy; and brothers, Carl Duvendeck, Emery (Dick) Lawson and John Lawson. He is survived by son, Harold (Amanda) Duvendeck, of Ironton; daughter, Nancy (Marc) Robinson, of Blanchester; sisters, Nancy Robinson, Sara Carman and Ruth Carman, all of Ironton, Helen Haggerty, of Canton, and Carole Everman, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; grandchildren include Hunter James Duvendeck, Logan Nathanial Duvendeck, Trenton Cole Duvendeck, Kimmi Dawn Robinson and Marcus Vernon Robinson Jr.; and one great-grandson, Austin Robinson.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Sunday and 9-10:30 a.m. Monday at O’Keefe-Baker Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Hanging Rock Cemetery with the Rev. Jeff Cremeans officiating. The family requests memorials be made to the Ironton City Mission, 710 N. Fifth St. Ironton, OH 45638.
