Diabetes Awareness Fair a success

On Tuesday, April 28, many individuals participated in the 2015 Ironton Lions Diabetes Awareness Community Health Fair organized by the Ironton Lions Club.

Concerned individuals of various ages received free diabetes screenings, educational information, an opportunity to speak to medical professionals regarding a wide range of medical issues and health safety/security tips.

This year’s event was a success, in great part, because of the many medical providers and volunteers who shared their time and resources.
