Eloise Dilley

Eloise Minard Pyles Dilley, 87, of Ironton, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky. The Lawrence County native was born Dec. 10, 1927, a daughter of the late John L. Anderson and Irene “Florence” Abbott Anderson.

Eloise was a graduate of Coal Grove High School and a homemaker. She was a long time member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Ironton where she was involved in the “Prime Timers Club”.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by first husband, Bernard Minard; second husband, Leslie Allen Pyles; and sister, Edna Cassidy.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Janet Sue and Dr. James Coulter of Cincinnati; son and daughter-in-law, John D. and Kathy Minard of Ironton; four grandchildren, Jamea (Jon) Coulter Cook, Jenae (Beau Lewis) Coulter, Misty (Tim) Minard Creech, all of Cincinnati, and Amy Minard of Ironton; seven great grandchildren, Cheyenne Cook, Olivia Cook, Thomas Cook, Caitlyn Creech, Samantha Creech, Timothy Creech and Rachael Minard; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Helen Anderson of Ironton; many nieces and nephews and her special companion “Bentley” the dog.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home with pastor Rob Hale officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery. Michael Taylor

Michael E. Taylor, 68, of Huntington, West Virginia, died Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington. He is survived by his wife, Leanne Taylor. A memorial service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville by pastor Doug Johnson. Richard Neace

Richard “Rich” Neace, Jr. 46, of Huntington, West Virginia, formerly of Proctorville, died Monday, June, 22, 2015, in St. Mary’s Medical Center. Rich is survived by his wife Peggy Rowe Nance. Funeral service will be conducted at 6 p.m. Saturday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. A celebration of Rich’s life will take place immediately following the service at the Rose of Sharon Church parsonage in Proctorville. Weltha Marie Dean-Headley, 81, of Ashland, died Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at her residence. Funeral services will be noon on Friday at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods with visitation from 11:30 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow at Old Field Cemetery.
