The final Friends of Ironton sponsored Battle of the Bands or the year is scheduled for Saturday at the Ro-Na and the lineup is set.

Starting off the competition is Empire to Embers taking the stage at 6 p.m. followed by Waiting on Aaron at 7 p.m. Chronic Pounder will begin playing at 8 p.m. with Vengenz at 9, Goodbye Utah at 10 and Remember Robinson closing out the competition at 11.

“The Friends of Ironton would like to encourage everyone to come to the theater Saturday for an evening of music from several different genres and the chance to vote on a band at this year’s Rally on the River,” Suzie Hamlin of the Friends of Ironton, said.

The winners of the previous three Battle of the Bands, Hye Water, Down in Round Three and Tailgate have already secured spots on the main stage of the Rally, which takes place August 13-16.

“We look forward to adding the final winner on July 18,” Hamlin said.

Doors open at the Ro-Na Saturday at 5:30 p.m. and admission is free. Concessions will also be available.
