PINE GROVE — Forget the golfing challenge, just drive your cart.

Driving a golf cart on the cart path proved to be the biggest challenge for the members of the Ironton Country Club’s Ladies Nine-Hole Golf Association last week.

Rain kept the grounds wet and soggy as the women waded through the elements during their weekly Tuesday meeting.

The women proved to be gracious hostesses as visitor Mary Rogers was one of the weekly event winners.

Last week’s hostess: Dora Carmon

Last week’s winners: Dora Carmon, Joyce Lewis, Mary Rogers.

Last week’s guest: Mary Rogers.
