Tribune strives to be best

For a century and a half, the Tribune has been a part of the Lawrence County community.

Many things go into the makeup of a daily edition of the newspaper, and we want to ensure we are always producing top quality content and value for our customers.

As a staff, we continuously evaluate our products and services to meet the needs of our subscribers and advertisers. As technology changes and readers continuously evolve, we look at every aspect of the company to make sure we are devoting the resources in the right areas.

Many things have become staples in each edition of the newspaper like the daily and weekend comics, obituaries, editorial page and classifieds. While those things will likely always be a part of the paper, we also want to know what you feel are elements that are vital for your community. Is there something that you would like to see more? Is there something you liked that the Tribune used to have that you would like to see brought back?

While our ultimate goal is to keep you informed about what is going on in your communities, we also always want to create a good value for our readers.

The feedback we get from readers is very important to us, as this allows us to best serve the communities we reach in each of our editions in print and all of our digital offerings.

The Tribune isn’t always going to be everything for everyone and we understand that. At the same time, our focus will remain on the local aspect and include state and national stories that have an impact on our communities.

There are many occasions when the Tribune staff is out in the community and readers provide us with valuable information on things they enjoy or elements they don’t, and we certainly like to receive that feedback.

We have all seen the changes that newspapers are making all over the country, and we will work as hard as we possibly can to ensure we continue to be successful and a staple in the community for another century and a half.

Having that feedback from our community will aid in what we are trying to do that benefits all of Lawrence County and the region.

Ultimately, is the Tribune the largest paper? No. But at the same time we strive to always be Lawrence County’s hometown community newspaper.
