Two men admitted to reduced charges in the break-in of an Ironton woman’s home last year.

Chris Destocki, 35, of 1606 Charlotte St., Ironton, and Nathaniel J. Delong, 37, of 206 West View Drive, South Point, each pleaded guilty to third-degree burglary charges, which were amended from second-degree counts.

Visiting Judge Dale Crawford presided over the case. He ordered presentence investigations on both men and set sentencing for Sept. 11.

Destocki is represented by Cincinnati-based attorneys Eric Eckes and Martin Pinales. Delong is represented by attorney Gene Meadows.

During the hearing, assistant prosecuting attorney Jeff Smith read a summary statement of facts that said Destocki and Delong were arrested on Nov. 11, 2014, at the victim’s home on County Road 7A after the woman’s daughter saw the men through a window in the home.

The victim stated “Mr. Destocki and Delong had no right to be in her residence,” according the statement.

The victim said money was missing from her husband’s desk and $358 in small bills was found in Destocki’s pocket, according to the statement.

Evidence was also found that Destocki made a copy of the victim’s house key at Lowe’s, according to the statement.
