South Point Storage and BC Tool and Party Rental of Ironton recently received top 100 U-Haul dealer honors, recognizing performance and meeting clients’ needs.

South Point Storage has claimed the award four times in the past 18 years, winning twice this year in the months of January and May.

“Our staff strives to meet the expectations and challenges that our customers have,” owner Mary Cogan said. “I’m thrilled that their efforts have been recognized.”

Cogan, along with her husband Carlton, has owned the company for close to 20 years.

BC Tool and Party Rental has earned the award three times this year in the months of February, March and May, and owner Bob Cleary praised his staff’s work.

“We try to make sure every person that calls looking for a U-Haul is helped,” Cleary said. “It’s very seldom that someone calls and we don’t make a sale. We want to make sure our customers are taken care of.”

Cleary has been in business with U-Hauls for 27 years and said that his business goes out of its way to make sure the trucks are in the best condition to please the customers.

“It makes me feel like I’m being honored because of the feat,” Cleary said. “We go the extra mile to make sure our customers are happy when they leave here with exactly what they want at the best price so it takes the worry out of their trip.”
