Jerry Keith Bruce, 59, of Ironton, passed away Friday, Aug. 14, 2015, at his residence. He was born Jan. 9, 1956, to the late Rev. Plyman and Joyce (Arnett) Bruce. He is survived by his wife, Sharon (Bays) Bruce whom he married June 14, 1974.

Jerry Keith is a graduate of Green Township High School and retired from the Bruce Box Company after 40 years of service. Jerry Keith was a member of Junior Furnace Missionary Baptist Church where he was very active in the ministry.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl Denise Stone

In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter, Erin Keith Bruce and Timothy Redoutey, son-in-law of Lucasville; a sister,Paula Rae Bartee of Watervliet, Michigan; two brothers, James Rodney Bruce and Seth Albert Bruce, both of Ironton; one grandson, Timothy Joseph Lee Redoutey; and three granddaughters, Haley Elizabeth Redoutey, Alyssa Brooke Redoutey, and Mikah Jo Keith Redoutey, all of Lucasville.

Visitation will be Monday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be at 12 p.m. Tuesday at the Junior Furnace Missionary Baptist Church, Franklin Furnace, with Rock Dearfield officiating. Interment will follow in Buckeye Cemetery.

Daniel Lester

Daniel Lester, 72, died Thursday, Aug. 13, 2015, at home. He is survived by his wife, June Lester. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville. Joyce Dillow

Joyce Ann Dillow, 75, of Flatwoods, Kentucky, died Thursday, Aug. 13, 2015, at Community Hospice Care, Ashland, Kentucky. The funeral will be at the Advance Memorial United Methodist Church in Flatwoods Sunday at 3 p.m. with a dinner following the service in the church’s fellowship hall.
