FRANKLIN FURNACE — The Symmes Valley Lady Vikings didn’t want to play any more than they had to in their volleyball game on Tuesday.

The Lady Vikings won a straight sets Southern Ohio Conference game as they got past the Green Lady Bobcats 25-16, 27-25 and 25-14.

Jesyn Shepherd led the offense with 13 points. Defensively, the Lady Vikings got 8 kills from Kaitlyn Crabtree and 7 blocks by Taylor Webb.

Symmes Valley visits Beaver Eastern on Thursday in a league game.
