Pair arrested in heroin sales

Deana L. Debord, 45 of 4083 Owl Creek Road, Lucasville, and Rudolph Marion-Turner Stepney Jr., 41 of 9338 North Martindale St., Detroit were arrested in South Point.

A Lucasville woman and a Detroit man remain in the Lawrence County Jail following their arrest on Thursday.

Deana L. Debord, 45 of 4083 Owl Creek Road, Lucasville, and Rudolph Marion-Turner Stepney Jr., 41 of 9338 North Martindale St., Detroit were arrested in South Point.

The pair were staying at the Grandview Inn and confidential informants made controlled purchases of heroin from there, according to a release from prosecuting attorney Brigham Anderson’s office.

They are charged with trafficking in drugs (heroin), which is a third degree felony.
