Marshall issues game day info

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Marshall football (4-1, 1-0 Conference USA) will host Southern Miss (3-2, 1-0) Friday evening at 7 p.m. at Joan C. Edwards Stadium.

As always, fans are encouraged to visit HerdZone.com in advance of gameday to purchase tickets and to take advantage of the print-at-home and mobile delivery options in order to avoid lines.

Here are some important facts to know for Friday:

Parking

All reserved parking lots in the surrounding areas of the stadium will open Friday at 4:30 p.m. for all football season pass holders to begin tailgating. University permits will not be accepted after 2 p.m. on any of the reserved lots.

Individuals with permits who parked on the lots prior to 2 p.m. may remain on the lots until 4:30 p.m. All cars that remain on the lots after 4:30 p.m. without a proper gameday parking pass will be towed.

Promotions

Friday will also be Youth Night. All youth can receive a free ticket by wearing their youth jersey on the evening of the game. Any parents looking to attend the game can use the promo code “YOUTH” on HerdZone.com for $10 off all tickets.

Any high school student may show their high school ID for a $10 ticket. In addition, the 2005 Marshall volleyball team will be honored on the field for winning the first C-USA Championship in school history.

Ticket Office Hours

The ticket office will be open on Thursday from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. in the Cam Henderson Center and will reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Friday and remain open until 4 p.m.

All ticket operations will then transfer to Joan C. Edwards Stadium and those ticket booths will be open by 4:30 p.m.
