Four students selected to represent SSU

PORTSMOUTH — Four Shawnee State University students were selected to represent at the Propel Ohio: Collegiate Summit 2015 on Friday at The Ohio State University.

The four students that were selected to represent SSU at the summit are Samantha H. Budd, a sophomore majoring in international relations, Edicson Gonzalez, a sophomore pursuing a degree in political science, Courtney M. Sisk, a junior majoring in fine arts-photography, and Andrea J. Webb, a senior pursuing a degree as an intervention specialist K-12.

In partnership with Ohio Campus Compact, the Corporation for National and Community Service, The Ohio State University, the GAR Foundation, University of Dayton, Print Syndicate, Nationwide and the John Glenn Civic Leadership Council, U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown invites emerging student leaders from across Ohio to participate in Propel Ohio, a one-day leadership conference seeking to promote civic engagement and inspire and empower undergraduate students to grow into civic leaders.
